Our entry is very simple and nothing you haven’t seen before. In reality, it’s just a simple trendline/pattern breakout entry strategy. What’s special about it is that it’s used in combination with timeframe confluence. Here is how;
Let’s use our AUD/CHF example again. We will skip all the time frame confluence confirmations as we have just done that, and we will jump straight to the 4h chart where we take all of our entries from.
The 4h time frame is slightly different when it comes to confirming timeframe confluence because the timeframe confluence is confirmed at the same time as our entry is confirmed.
Here is how:
First, we draw in either our wedge pattern or trendline. We are looking at the trend, so we draw in the trendline.

Once we have our trendline drawn in, our timeframe confluence and with that, our entry will be confirmed when the price breaks and closes below that trendline.
